Andrew Brown Physiotherapist

Andrew Brown

Director and Principal physiotherapist

    Masters of Physiotherapy, University of Queensland 2016

Since completing his Masters of Physiotherapy, Andrew has refined his physiotherapy skills by working within a number of private musculoskeletal clinics and hospitals, as well as treating one of Brisbaneā€™s premier league soccer teams.

Andrew's warm and compassionate nature, combined with his expertise, ensures that you'll receive exceptional care and support throughout your treatment journey. He is committed to empowering you to achieve your goals and improve your quality of life. With Andrew as your physiotherapist, you'll experience a personalized and holistic approach to your wellbeing as he celebrates wins with you - from being able to lift a child pain-free, to returning to a playing field.

Outside of the clinic, Andrew is a family man with three young children. When heā€™s not making the most of his quality time with his kids, you might find Andrew training in the gym, playing sports, or passionately playing his drums.

Alayne MacDonald Physiotherapist

Since completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2009, Alayne has worked locally refining her skills in private practice. Best known for her caring and empathetic approach, Alayne takes pride in educating and empowering her patients, helping them achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.

With Alayne as your Physiotherapist, you can expect a holistic approach to your care. Her postgraduate studies in pain sciences with the University of South Australia compliment her ability to provide comprehensive and personalised treatment.

Outside of work, Alayne and her husband enjoy the outdoors with their black lab, Diesel, and can often be found unwinding at a local cafe.

Alyssa Bell Physiotherapist

Alyssa brings vibrant energy and a wealth of experience to the Evolve Physio & Co. team. With degrees in Exercise and Sport Science and Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, her career spans private practice in Brisbane and regional Australia. She specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, chronic pain, and pre-and postnatal care, and has worked with athletes in QAFL, VFL, and AFLW.

With Alyssa as your healthcare provider, you can expect an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on her experience as an exercise physiologist and physiotherapist to deliver personalized and effective care.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys an active lifestyle of running, swimming and hiking. She also loves to travel, having backpacked across multiple continents, embracing diverse cultures and building meaningful connections.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from ACU in 2024, Harry is dedicated to helping people of all abilities recover from musculoskeletal, neurological, and sports-related injuries. Whether you lead an active lifestyle or are managing a chronic condition, Harryā€™s tailored approach supports you in regaining strength, mobility, and overall well-being.

With hands-on experience in private practice and as a trainer for QAFL teams, Harry has a special interest in injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation. As a former representative for both Australia and Queensland in water polo, he understands the drive to stay active and applies a holistic approach to ensure long-term recovery and lasting results.

Outside the clinic, Harry stays active through gym sessions, running, fishing, and exploring new coffee spots with friends.

Freya Brown

General Manager

  • Currently completing a Masters of Business Administration, James Cook University

Having held senior leadership positions in allied health for the last thirteen years, Freya has extensive experience in the delivery of patient-centred, professional health care. With experience in business strategy, including a successful roll-out for a publicly listed company throughout Queensland, Freya oversees the growth and development of our Ningi physiotherapy clinic to ensure we continue to provide the community with a full suite of tailored physiotherapy services. 

In addition to supporting Evolve Physio & Co, Freya is a dedicated mother who loves keeping active and working out in the gym.
